Gene Jackson is currently working on putting together and writing the official biography of Eddie Gilbert. This is the first and only book to be authorized by the Gilbert family. The book will hopefully be ready by the end of this year.
Gene created another Facebook group for co-workers, friends and fans of Eddie to show their support. This group will provide updates on the status of the book in the coming months. If you are a wrestler or even a fan and you have an Eddie Gilbert story, memory, or photo you'd like to share for the book, please contact Gene through Facebook or e-mail Gene. Spread the word around, as we all want this to be the definitive book on Eddie's life and career. Gene wants to hear from as many sources as possible. He has dozens already lined up, but there's always room for more! So if you know of anyone that might have something to contribute, stories, pics, anything at all that you think might be useful, please have them e-mail Gene and he will get back to them as soon as possible.
